Hello, I am Kolab Walden.  As a little girl, I have very fond memories growing vegetables and flowers with my family.  Watching those tiny seeds grow into wonderful floral blooms was exciting.
      As an adult, I earned my BSN in nursing.  Caring for the sick and nurturing them back to health was very rewarding.  I also found pleasure in creating floral arrangements for my family and friends.
      My first floral wedding was for my sister.  I knew from that moment on, if I ever made a career change it would have to involve flowers.
      Interested in learning more, I decided to take a floral arrangement and design class at our local community college.  Shortly after that, I attended a four day floral/business workshop.
      With the support of my family and friends, I was able to start my own business - Kolab’s Flowers.  I feel very blessed to be able to pursue my lifelong love and passion of growing flowers.
